Indoor Practices at AV Tennis Center, 13203 NE 16th St, Bellevue WA.Sundays (9/12, 9/19, & 9/26), Noon-1:30pm for 2.5-3.0 players & 1:30-3pm for 3.5-4.5 players. Additional times may be added based on need. Participation in practices will guarantee you a spot on one of our teams. October team practices: Sundays, 10/3, 10/10, & 10/17 times to be determined by 9/30/10.
We will accomodate whole teams looking for a set practice time and host site a well as partial teams looking to add players. We can help recruit players and find the right fit for teams. Practice fees vary - contact us for more information.
SEASON: Beginning Nov 2010 through Jan 2011 with playoffs in February. Matches almost every weekend with the exception of Thanksgiving and Winter breaks. Home matches played at AV Tennis Center. Each team match consists of three doubles teams.
COSTS: $50 for September NTRP Level Practices. $50 for October Team Practices. This will include strategic doubles coaching, new can of balls for practice match play, and evaluation to help you improve as a team. $60 one-time fee (due 10/1/10) to join each Aces 2010/2011 Mixed Team. Fee covers administration, balls, line-ups, and pre-match coaching/consultation for each match.
Current USTA Membership also required - rates vary for membership type and length. USTA charges a $19 one-time fee to sign-up for a team. You are responsible for paying court fees for the particular match on the day if you are in the line-up. This ranges from $10 to $13 per person depending on the facility.
COACHES: Our professional staff of instructors will help you and your team on match performance. We will evaluate your skills and design practices to focus on areas that need improvement. Topics may include: mental toughness, court positioning/movement. match strategy, shot selection, doubles formations, etc. This year one of our team came within one win of going to the National Championships.
